Now our Trip for Sri Lanka is booked ! Leaving the 16th of December 2011 and comming home

the 10th of January 2012. Now lets raise the money for the Water Stations ! :) Were so excited !

FUNDRAISER BAKESALE!

We're going to have a bakesale outside our school cafeteria this Wednesday the 22th of September. Besides emailing sponsors, this will be our first step on raising money for G/Nalagasdeniya Jayanthi Model School in Hikkaduwa!

The Water Project - Building 4 water stations for a school in Hikkaduwa Sri Lanka

Dear Reader at hand,

We are writing to see if you would be interested in sponsoring a third year high school project. Our names are Harris Lukeman & Chelsea Carroll –Melzer and attend at Kungsholmens Gymnasium in Stockholm, Sweden.

The goal with the project is to travel to Sri Lanka during the Christmas Holidays (December – January 2011 – 2012) and ensure the provision of clean and drinkable water by building four water stations for G/Nalagasdeniya Jayanthi Model School in Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka.

Our main concern is to raise money in order to build these four water stations for the school. We are very excited to receive help from you, small donation or big.

We have established a reliable contact base directly working with the school and they have informed us about the costs and the needs that the school have.

To build the piping for the water source, the cost will end up at about 133 000.00 LKR, which is about 9 000 SEK. We are trying our best to raise that money and therefore we need your help to build this water source for the students of G/Nalagasdeniya Jayanthi Model School.

We hope that you are willing to help us with the building costs as this could without a doubt help us reach our goal in providing drinking water for G/Nalagasdeniya Jayanthi Model School in Hikkaduwa.

We will send you information about the process of our project and the end results. This includes pictures and documents of our Water Project if you are interested in how your donations help the children receive clean fresh water.
